How to use the multi screen & alpha key modules together to send NDI

If you’re using a tricaster, or something like OBS, you might want to send video out of your system using the multi-screen module. So how do you do it? Try this.

It’s not immediately obvious that the multi-screen module and the sdi (or alphakey) modules can work together. They can, though.

The secret is that the 9-way arrow in the displays tab tells ProPresenter which display you want to send over NDI. So, if you’re using three screens, the left middle arrow sends the left screen, the middle button sends the middle screen, and the right middle button sends the right screen.

You should note that if you’re only doing two screens, like I am in this video, the default button choice (the middle) will send the center, so you’ll get the right side of the left output and the left side of the right output.

If you’d like to see exactly what I mean, take a look at the video above.
