The YouTube creator studio has a ton of options to optimize and measure your videos. Here’s the list I put together.

Dashboard:
Total views
Subscribers
Add widget

Widget area:
Tips:
Latest videos
Comments
Analytics
What’s new

Video manager:
Videos
live events
playlists
shows (like playlists with more options; also harder to use)
copyright notices

Community:
Comments —Published | Held for review | Likely spam
Messages
Subscribers
Fan Funding
Contribute subtitles and CC
Community settings (Blacklists and comment rules)
Credits (Videos you’ve been credited in)

Channel:
Status and features (all the features you’re allowed to use)
Upload defaults (the set of things you always want to start with)
Featured content: Featured video (to drive traffic to that video) | Channel ad (a video to advertise the channel)
Branding: Branding watermark (or bug) on all videos.
Advanced: Advertisements | Adwords for video account | Associated website (the website you want linked to this account) | Channel recommendations (allow my channel to be recommended) | Subscriber counts (show these or don’t) | Google analytics id, etc.
