ProPresenter Tutorial: Getting Pro6-style messages in Pro5
One of the best features in ProPresenter 6 is the ability for people in the children’s ministry to go to a website, enter a message, and have that message show (when the computer operator lets it) on the screen.
I started thinking about ways to do this in ProPresenter 5 and came up with all sorts of convoluted ways to do it. Then it occurred to me — Twitter.[tweet “Wouldn’t it be great if we could get ProPresenter 6 messages in Pro5? We can. Here’s how:”]
The Twitter integration allows you to put up messages created by other people. Wouldn’t it be great if you could format a tweet so that it showed up in a way where it didn’t look like a tweet, but more like a message from the children’s ministry.
You can. It’s not hard. Watch the video to see how. Keep in mind that this is a hack so it’s not as elegant as the ProPresenter 6 solution, but it works.
