Couple thoughts came to mind after watching this.

… Has anyone tried building a virtual church in the world of Second Life? One could create a virtual church building just like (or not) the real one of the congregation. Others in Second Life could find your community and perhaps become part of the followers.

… With Meerkat a pastor could live stream services or messages direct to parishioners’ via their Twitter addresses.

… With either of these ideas, you would be able to reach out to at least some of your shut-ins, expatriots, and do some missionary or prison ministries.

Just a thought, for what it’s worth.

But, if you miss the live show, I’ll put up the edited show later (usually on the same day) right here.

This show started is meant to help church techies the world over get their questions answered. Paul Alan Clifford specializes in video, graphic design, social media, new media, and the web. If there is something you want to know that’s outside these areas of expertise, given some time, he’ll do his best to find the answer from other experts he knows.

If you do tech at your church or you use computers to advance your church’s mission, this show is for you.
