I get in a lot of conversations on-line and more and more I hear this. “We want to (fill-in-the-blank with something that should cost a lot of money) and we only have (fill-in-the-blank with much too little to do it).”
Usually, one of two answers comes back: either, “that’s too little; you can’t do it for that” or “you can do it with crappy equipment that’s very outdated which really ought to be thrown away.” I don’t think either is the right answer.
If God is God and if He’s called you to it, He’ll equip you in whatever way He sees fit. We shouldn’t settle or make excuses. We shouldn’t go ahead of Him either, telling Him what we’re called to. We need to be careful about what we’re actually called to do, but we shouldn’t just assume that impossible means anything to Him. It doesn’t.
