I won a Kramer Electronics’ Twitter contest. You won’t believe how they surprised me!

I recently won a Twitter contest of sorts. Kramer Electronics said that since I was their 1,800th Twitter follower, they wanted to send me something.

I joked back that they should send me some of their gear. Watch the video to see what happened.

[Tweet “Surprise and delight your audience by going above and beyond their expectations.”]

I was surprised and delighted by the results.

You can do the same. Surprise your audience by going above and beyond their expectations.

What happens when you delight your audience? They tell others. I have a video on YouTube that they didn’t ask me to make. This blog post is free-advertisement that they didn’t request. I’ve tweeted about it a bunch of times to all my followers.

I don’t know how much it cost them to make and send me the piece they did, but whatever it was, it got them a fan for life. I know that from now on, when I buy something they make, I’ll definitely consider them.

Now, here’s a question. How can you surprise and delight with what your church does? When your pastor asks for something, how can you go above and beyond? Let me know in the comments below.
