TNB131010 — Shooting for IMAG vs. Shooting for a Satellite Campus

TNoB-iTunes2013
On today’s Tech, No Babel: Shooting for IMAG vs. Shooting for a Satellite Campus (or a Web / Online Audience).

Audience really matters when it comes to how you shoot an event. Is the audience in the same location as the cameras. If you’re trying to improve the sight lines, eliminating “bad seats,” you shoot mostly closer shots. If you’re shooting for an audience in a different location, like the web or a satellite campus, you need to mix in a wider variety of shots, including establishing shots, reaction shots, and others.

Take a look at my church’s online campus every Saturday at 6p eastern and Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30 am eastern for examples at http://churchforyou.tv
