  1. I’ve heard the argument made in favor of it that it’s a digital way of taking short notes. I’ve also heard the arguments against it that it could be a distraction.

  2. My point is that the person, not the tech is the distraction. It’s just as easy to get distracted with paper (doodling, playing tic-tac-toe, making a shopping list) as it is in Twitter. The person, not the tech is the cause of being distracted.
