ProPresenter 6 Tutorials: Three ways to add videos
There are a lot of ways to add videos to your presentation in ProPresenter. Maybe you want the video to keep playing no matter what slide or song. Do it one way.
Maybe you want the video to be contained to another. Do it a second.
Maybe it needs to be behind a song until you decide to change it. Do it a third way.
The power of ProPresenter 6 (and previous) is in the layers. The topmost layer that you’d use for video is the props layer. It will stay on top no matter what, until it’s removed.
You can also add video to the slides layer. Most people don’t, but you can. Like the slide text, the video will only stay as long as the slide stays active.
An alternate way of doing it is to add the video as a foreground video. This video will be above the background layer, but supercedes it.
Finally, you can add a video to the background where it will stay until it’s cleared or replaced.
Which you choose will be up to you. Watch the ProPresenter 6 Tutorial above for more info on how to do these things and which to do.
