ProPresenter 6 Tutorial: Triggering and displaying a countdown with the scheduler

It seems like it ought to be easy to add a countdown to the scheduler in ProPresenter 6, but it’s actually a multi-step process. Here’s how you do it.

First, you need to decide what slide you want to show with the countdown. Usually, this is going to be a preservice loop. I’d add the following to the first slide in that loop (since you can’t specify which slide starts with the scheduler.

Start with the cue that starts the countdown. Next, add a display message cue on the same slide. Make sure you specify a message that has the time you want to run already embedded in it.

Now, just set a scheduler (make sure you don’t set it for AM instead of PM or vice versa). You should see it when the time comes.

Today’s show REALLY, REALLY needs to be watched. This text isn’t going to be enough, so watch the video above.
