On today’s Tech, No Babel: Live streaming myths

I recently wrote an article for Church Production Magazine called “AS STREAMING GOES MAINSTREAM, MYTHS GROW” and I thought I’d talk a little about those myths here. Make sure you follow that link to read the whole story.

[tweet “Do you believe any of these myths about live streaming? Many people do:”]

What was once true is no longer so, and what is true today, may not be true tomorrow, so keep that in mind (especially if you see this some time after January 2017).

There are myths about equipment that state what’s necessary and what isn’t.

There are myths about live streaming services. Some people don’t see why you’d pay for a service. Others think that paid services are the only ones worth using.

Finally, there are myths about the people you need. Suffice it to say that some people will accomplish more with less. Other times, you just need a professional. It comes down to your circumstances.

For more details, watch the video above and read the article.
