First, determine if you may have multiple causes.

Consider it as a possibility if:
-removing a known bad piece doesn’t fix the problem.
-adding in a suspected good piece breaks the system again.
-you can’t eliminate the problem.

What to do:
-get extra simple.
-try to test each piece.
-consider a single cause for the multiple failures.
