On today’s Tech Help for Churches, Podcasting Adding your podcast to the Google Play podcast directory

iTunes has been the go to directory for podcasts for about 10 years, but now Google is entering the mix. How do you get your podcast listed with them? Try these steps:

Go to http://play.google.com/music/podcasts/publish?u=0#

Once there, add a podcast and then follow these steps:
1. Enter your podcast feed url (make sure it has a title tag, iTunes:author or googleplay:author AND iTunes:email or googleplay:email tags).
2. Verify ownership (they’ll send an email to the address listed in the email tags).
3. Publish (assuming there are no errors).

If you need to add in more podcasts, click on “all podcasts” and add another.
