On today’s Tech, No Babel: Troubleshooting Techniques: Dealing with multiple causes
First, determine if you may have multiple causes.
Consider it as a possibility if:
-removing a known bad piece doesn’t fix the problem.
-adding in a suspected good piece breaks the system again.
-you can’t eliminate the problem.
What to do:
-get extra simple.
-try to test each piece.
-consider a single cause for the multiple failures.
