Twitter: 8 Types of Accounts | Tech Help for Churches

Listen to the audio:

On today’s Tech Help for Churches, 8 types of twitter accounts

Which type of account do you have?

The random account: Lacks focus

Link account: links only; sometimes too many at once.

Pundit: Educates on political and social issues; Can’t see other sides.

Business: Shares new products and services; sometimes forgets to add value in other ways.

Celebrity: A behind-the-scenes look at the lives of a famous person; sometimes taken over by assistants and publicists

Fake celebrities and fictional characters: Sometimes mistaken for the real thing. Might not be as funny as the person writing it thinks it is.

Auto-retweeters: Depends on the retweet if it communicates support (retweeting a prayer) or is annoying (retweets with a link to buy something they sell).

Quoters: Quotes from a variety of sources or Bible verses, etc. Can lack the personal touch.
