@PaulAlanClif question: I need a shotgun mic. What do I get?
Hi there Paul
My name is Sarel Van Der Walt. We have spoken a long time ago. I live in South Africa. I have been searching the Web extensively on the subject of Podcasting.
The reason for my interest is that I want to start a Podcast some time soon for my Church. At 1st it might be audio and later video too.
I have started getting gear together and this is quite an exciting experience for me. But I am starting to wonder about my choices.
I have a laptop. No problems there. I got an Alesis io2 Express. Audio quality is great. Got a Samson C03. Way too sensitive. Waiting for Shure SM58 now.
But I saw a new thing now. Audio Interfaces working with ipad. That looks very interesting.
I can’t seem to record to my laptop with the io2 and to an external audio recorder simultaneously.
This is for now my next step I am looking at.
I saw a possible candidate: PreSonus iTwo. But I can’t confirm yet that I will be able to record to pc and ipad simultaneously.
Do u maybe have any recommendations please?
I have been following some of your episodes and I really enjoye them a lot.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Sarel Van Der Walt
Are you familiar with YouTube?
If so, how about their InVideo Programming?
Again, if so, why can’t I make my Subscribe button larger? I uploaded a 750×140 image but YouTube keeps resizing it.
